Piccadilly Radio launched across Manchester 50 years ago today on 2nd April 1974 and the first song played was Good Vibrations by The Beach Boys.

Reeve, Andy Peebles, Gary Davies, Chris Evans, Tim Grundy, Timmy Mallett, Spence MacDonald, Pete Mitchell, Geoff Lloyd, Mark Radcliffe, James Stannage, Gary King, Benny Brown, Mark Benson, Joel Ross, JK (Jason King), Scott Mills, Adam Cole and Mike Toolan.
Over the years, there have been a number of station name changes including Key 103, Piccadilly Gold, Picadilly 1152, Magic 1152, Key 2 and now in 2024, you can hear Hits Radio on 103 FM and Greatest Hits Radio on various digital platforms.
