BBC Radio Kent started broadcasting to the county of Kent in 1983, the station was formally known as BBC Radio Medway, which started in 1970 and only broadcast to the Medway towns.
Over the years, BBC Radio Kent has had some great presenters including Pat Marsh (over 30+ years and still going), Helen Mayhew, Barbara Sturgeon, Don Durbridge, Dave Austin, Rod Lucas, Bob Ballard, Adrian John, John Warnett, Dave Cash, Daryl Denham, Steve Ladner, Anna Cookson, Ian Collins, Dominic King, James Whale and so many more.
