Tom Kent – 1954-2024
The legendary Tom Kent (TK) sadly died on 24th June 2024 and will be remembered for bringing the airwaves alive with his amazing on-air energy and presentation style over many decades including a tenure at WAVA in Washington DC – this is where I first heard TK!
22 years ago in 2002, Tom founded/headed up Tom Kent Radio Network (TKRN). Tom hosted and produced syndicated daily, weekend and 24/7 programming each week on approximately 600 radio stations including WGCM-FM – Coast 102 ‘Gulfport, MS’, KZQL – Kool 105.5 ‘Mills, WY’, WRPQ – Max FM ‘in ‘Baraboo, WI’.
The majority of programming provided by TKRN was based around Classic Hits and AC formats, along with selected programming made available to stations of any music format.
