In the Summer of 1995, Heart 106.2 in London started test transmissions ahead of launching on 5th September 1995. For some of the test transmissions they relayed 95.5 WPLJ from New York with London traffic inserts from Metro Networks (Heart announcements were voiced by Gary King).
Below are 6 unscoped airchecks of around 3 hours each (except parts 2 and 6) showcasing the sound of ‘PLJ and the amazing Scott and Todd Show with Scott Shannon and Todd Pettengill. The airchecks feature custom TM Century jingles.
